Summary:

A fun event aimed at all software developers. The aim is to develop an application using Open Source and Open geographic data in one day that is of community value of the people of Northern Ireland. Attendees can work alone or within a team and prizes will be awarded for the most innovative ideas and engaging apps.

All the speakers are experienced practitioners of Geographic Information Systems and are very familiar with the benefits of using adding Geographic Information as an additional stream of Business Intelligence. They will start the event by talking about what free Open Source software and Open GeoData exist and what apps would be useful to stimulate ideas.

Closing date for bookings is 26 April 2012 at 12 noon. No more bookings will be taken after this date.

For overseas delegates who wish to attend the event please note that BCS do not issue invitation letters.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation the delegates will be told well in advance. BCS reserve the right to cancel any event. BCS is not responsible for hotel or travel costs. Event closes at 12 noon on 26 April 2012.
